The civil action of Jack Bleet and Laureen Bleet v. Lee Seligman and S&R Ventures, Inc. arose from a failed home renovation project for the Plaintiffs' intended rental property in Weston, Florida. The jury returned a verdict on August 29, 2025 , finding that S&R Ventures, Inc. did enter into and materially breach the March 7, 2022, contract , and awarding the Bleets $26,644.00 in damages on that claim. However, the verdict form for the separate claim of Fraud in the Inducement against Lee Seligman was incomplete, as the key liability questions and the final damages amount were left unanswered

A Douglas County jury ruled in favor of Defendant Rebecca Fraze in a 2025 property dispute over land trespass. Plaintiffs Kenneth and Diana Larson claimed Fraze and her agents repeatedly trespassed on their parking area, Lot 30 of their Myrtle Creek property, between September 2023 and May 2024. The Plaintiffs sought damages for nominal trespass and appliance destruction, totaling $5,300. Fraze requested a jury trial and planned a counterclaim, citing an alleged physical assault by Kenneth Larson. The jury ultimately concluded that the Defendant did not commit trespass, ending the case in her favor.
